저희 생명공학부에 정철희 교수님께서 새로 부임하셨습니다.
정철희 교수님은 주로 핵산을 이용한 분자 진단 공학 분야에서 연구를 해 오셨습니다. 특히,핵산의 다양한 특성들을 이용해서, 많은 분야와 접목을 시도하고 있습니다. 등온 증폭 기술 개발을 통해, 다양한 유전자를 진단하고, 핵산의 혼성화 특성을 기반으로 한 DNA 나노기술 (DNA walker 및 DNA circuit) 을 개발하고, Next generation sequencing (NGS) 기술과 현미경을 접목하여 핵산과 바이오 물질 간의 결합 경향을 대량으로 분석할 수 있는 플랫폼을 개발하여, 최근 3년간 분자 진단 분야에 SCI 논문을 8편을 발표한 바 있습니다. 특히 Nature Nanotechnology 와 Cell 논문에는 주저자로서 참여하셨습니다.
